May 11th, 2016 Journal: Day 10 of 21 Day Fix Challenge

Goals are the fuel in the furnace of achievement.

Greetings Family & Friends,

Hope everyone had a wonderful Wednesday!  Had an interesting start to the day.  Woke up with a flipped over dump truck near my house here at Queensborough bridge.  That must have been 6 – 7 hours before they got that thing removed.  Hope the truck driver is okay.  It was the second time that has happened.  Almost on the same exact spot but this wasn’t as bad as the first one because the first one the cabin fell on the barricade.  Though the restructured the flow of traffic, people tend to underestimate the end curve before the bridge and maintain there speed throughout the circle.

I forgot to wear my Garmin Forerunner 230 this morning in the charger.  I try to motivate myself everyday and try to complete 10,000+ steps everyday.  There is a Garmin Steps Challenge group and I just like to compete and push myself.  I dropped from 2nd to 4th so I really need to step it up tomorrow.  I wasn’t able to do my 10 KM run either to compensate for the loss.  Still battling myself to step up to the plate.  It is just now that I completed my 30 min Lower body workout before I write my post.  My energy isn’t as high as I would like it.  Looks like I’m starting near scratch when I first started this journey.  At least, I’m not as sore and dying like I use to… lol.

I’m also missing my favorite Meetup group tonight.  Wife is working and my brother has an appointment so he can’t watch my two boys tonight.  It’s a very important topic on is my current situation on getting my fiances in order so I can invest in real estate.  Just wasn’t to be for me today but I will step up tomorrow.  That’s is all I can really do.  I can waste my time and complain or cry about it but that won’t really help.  I will move forward and just be better than I was yesterday.  We all have hiccups and off days but we shouldn’t linger on it too much and let it derail us from our purpose and dreams.  Keep moving forward!

God Bless,

Ryan Jarata & Family,
